Hi, I’m Lisa! I have over 10 years experience in HR Management and Training.

My Story

My Name is Lisa Esposito-Maffei and I live in Hadfield, Glossop. I am married to Phil and we have two beautiful children – Ava and Luca – and our Cavapoo Max completes the family.  The name ALM was derived from the names of my children and our little dog – Ava Luca Max.

Born and bred in a small village near Penrith, Cumbria, I am qualified to CIPD Level 7 advanced Postgraduate Diploma in HR management. I have spent my HR career working in various roles as Company Trainer, HR Advisor, Group Training Manager, and HR Manager – predominantly working in Manufacturing both Food and Heavy Engineering and more recently I have supported business in retail, marketing, restaurants, trades, hair and beauty.

I am passionate about working with business owners and making workplaces great places to be.

I specialise in employee engagement and wellbeing, which is supported through my accreditations of WRAW certified practitioner, an ICF trained Coach, an MHFA England Mental Health First Aid instructor and a Chartered member of the CIPD.

Employee wellbeing is important

I believe that it is important for employees to be fit, healthy and happy. This is done through creating a work culture that promotes health through all aspects of their lives, both physically and mentally.

You need to get the basic people foundations right first

If you ensure you have the right people in the right jobs and they are:

  • rewarded fairly for the work they do;
  • correct policies and procedures are in place;
  • staff are treated with dignity and respect; and
  • levels of engagement and motivation are maintained
